New Close Farm Shop

Charlotte's Eggs are from our very own free-range hens who roam around the farm. They're fed on a mix of locally produced cereals and pellets as well as whatever they can find as they roam naturally. A number of them are ex-battery hens that we took to stop them going for slaughter and into cheap chicken dishes and, because they are a little older, you stand a good chance of finding a 'double-yoker' in your dozen!

You will often find them lying around in the sun, wandering around in the wood, or generally just getting under your feet! Their eggs are worth it though, tasty like you wouldn't believe!

We also supplement our our own eggs with those of a local producer. Like ours, these are also very free-range and the flock is just a few miles away.

We are open...

Thursday and Friday from 9.00 am until 6.30 pm and Saturday from 9.00 am until 3.00 pm

How to find us
